The obligation for audit of accounts no longer applies to many private limited companies in Singapore, subject to specific conditions. Exempt private companies, characterized by the absence of corporate shareholders and not exceeding 20 individual shareholders, with a turnover below S$10 million for the accounting year, may submit unaudited reports. Additionally, dormant companies are exempt from the requirement of submitting audited reports. Conversely, other companies must appoint an independent auditor within three months of incorporation and be prepared to annually submit audited accounts to ACRA for compliance.
T RAVI PRACTICE PAC offers comprehensive accounting services, encompassing the preparation of unaudited financial reports tailored for exempt companies. Additionally, we provide audit services through our affiliated audit firms. Our audit services are meticulously crafted to ensure compliance with the statutory requirements outlined by ACRA and IRAS, covering all aspects of financial statements.
